Sommaire

Batman: The Brave and the Bold est une série de bandes dessinées publiée mensuellement aux États-Unis entre janvier 2009 et octobre 2010 pour accompagner la sortie de la série Batman : L'Alliance des Héros. Ses dessins, même s'ils sont moins soignés dans les premiers numéros, s'en inspirent en effet.

Ses histoires ne font pas référence aux évènements de la série animée, mais la plupart veillent à ne pas entrer en contradiction avec les épisodes. Elles conservent en outre le schéma des épisodes : une histoire d'introduction, suivie d'une histoire complète, généralement sans lien avec la première.

Toutes les histoires ont été publiées en français dans le Batman Mag, entre décembre 2009 et août 2011, au rythme de deux histoires par magazine.


Dès l'été 2010, DC Comics a annoncé que la série s'arrêtera après le 22e numéro, et sera suivie par une nouvelle série de bandes dessinées, toujours inspirée de Batman : L'Alliance des Héros, intitulée The All-New Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

04. Menace of the Time Thief (La Menace du voleur de temps)
Bouleversements dans le ligne du temps. Pour arrêter Doctor Cyber, Batman est aidé par différentes versions de Aquaman.

05. The Case of the Fractured Fairy Tale (Il était une (étrange) fois)
La Reine des Fables a kidnappé un enfant. Pour le secourir, Batman est aidé d'un autre "enfant" : Captain Marvel !

06. Charge of the Army Eternal (La Dernière Charge de l'armée éternelle)
Batman et les nombreuses incarnations de Kid Eternity font face au General Immortus et au Gang du Flush Royal.

Batman vient en aide à Changelin et à la Doom Patrol pour contrecarrer les plans de Mad Mod.

Dans l'Himalaya, Batman se retrouve face à face avec le Yeti. Mais est-il vraiment seul ?

Catman aide Batman à combattre ses vieux ennemis le Pingouin, le Joker, Double-Face et Riddler…

10. Attack of the Colossal Bat-Monster (L'Attaque du Bat-monstre de 50 pieds)

11. The Fearsome Fangs Strike Again (La Rage de la chauve-souris)
Le Trio Infernal est à la recherche d'un totem aux pouvoirs incroyables. Pour les empêcher d'obtenir cette force, Batman fait équipe avec Green Arrow.

12. Final Christmas (Crise de Noël)
Adam Strange téléporte Batman sur Rann pour l'aider à sauver l'univers !

13. Night of the Batmen (La Nuit des Batmen)
Aquaman, Captain Marvel, Green Arrow et Plastic Man deviennent les protecteurs de Gotham City lorsque Batman se casse la jambe…

14. Captured by Mister Camera (Saisis par M. Caméra !)
Batman fait équipe avec Huntress pour défaire un vilain nommé Mister Camera.

Un Superman Cyborg cherche à tuer le Green Lantern Hal Jordan et à prendre le contrôle de l'univers. Afin de l'en empêcher, le Corps des Green Lantern fait équipe avec Batman.

20. Home Wreckers
Big Barda demande l'aide de Batman pour retrouver Miracle.
